It’s not nearly as interesting as the title implies.
Last week I was we improvised a bit when we saw the trampoline in the yard. I’m running the camera, the actresss was already on the trampoline and we thought it might be funny.
I think the footage is amusing and vertiginous, if nothing else. It reminds me of video of astronauts in freefall (which, for you physics inclined out there, we were in for a brief moment).
Anyway, watch a cute girl in coveralls bounce on a trampoline.
[note: It looks washed out because I screwed up an exposure and then managed to screw up the compression but since it's just a sample for notions of movement and what it looks like when you take a camera on a trampoline I figured it didn't matter.]
[note2: There's no sound. So it's not your speakers that are screwed up. Curious thing about video. We've been trained by years of movies, tv, and whatnot that when pictures move there has to be sound. When there is no sound on video everything seems very wrong.]
[note3: The video stops when I turned the camera off because I felt myself falling off the trampoline. I thought in that moment of realization, "I don't know how this thing will work if it takes a significant jarring while actually taping so I better turn it off." Weird how your brain works fast sometimes. It's a shame too because I managed to jump off and land with grace, like a gazelle. Or, more precisely, that's how I like to imagine it. Reality would probably be closer to a drunken stumble that just happened to not leave me with a broken camera and a head wound.]
