Bouncing

Posted on Saturday 17 December 2005

Coincident with my recent trampoline footage I went to the company Christmas party and bounced on a trampoline most of the night.

Here’s some useful advice:

Don’t eat a lot of Middle Eastern food fast drink, a few beers and then find out there’s a trampoline that you IMMEDIATELY run to and start bouncing on…for hours.

Slightly drunk, too full to breathe and nauseous is no way to be when you’re amongst your co-workers.

Other than that though, bouncing is so damn much fun. I can’t believe the world isn’t built with trampolines embedded in everything. People would be happier if they were bouncing. Imagine a world of happy bouncing people. It’s easy if you try. No ground below us except for a springy cloth.

Imagine all the people…bouncing all the day!

Just go out and jump around if you don’t have access to a proper trampoline. In fact, you should be bouncing while you’re reading this. It’s good for your bones too! It’s a stress related exercise.

JUMP MOTHERFUCKER! JUMP NOW!

A great way to incorporate bouncing in your workaday-life (if you’re in an unfortunate office-sittin’ situation) is to replace your office chair with a big ball (like they use for exercising)… I bounce on one all day, especially when I get annoying emails.

Bounceing really does relieve stress. I can’t believe everyone isn’t sitting on bouncy balls. And boy would that be fun on a bouncy trampoline floor.

Bouncing on a ball bouncing on a trampoline…wow! That might just be the greatest idea ever.

The next time I see my boss I’m going to ask her if we can try it at her house.

Bouncing on a ball bouncing on a trampoline…sounds like a neck brace to me. Trampolines bring out the fearful mom in me, having fractured my back on one in high school. Still hurts. But hey ! Have fun, wacko.

I love bouncy bouncy. Bouncing my chums up and down on a springy surface, usually a bed, after a few beers is all i can think about. Nakedness is preferred but is by no means compulsory! Bouncy bouncy, spread the word…

Naked Bouncing…I like that idea. More people need to be on trampolines naked. Naked trampolining contests! That’s an idea who’s time has come.

    Bouncy bouncy indeed.

Having been both victim and instigator of the wonderful game that is bouncy bouncy. I can confirm that there is no better way to end a night (or start a day) than repeatedly jumping onto a mate as he or she lies on a particularly compressible mattress. Although prior alcohol consumption is all but mandatory for all involved in this game, great care must be taken as the line between “bouncy bouncy” and “vommy vommy” is indeed thin. For an extra touch of audaciousness try drawing on the victims in a comical fashion using permanent markers and toothpaste first. This makes the ensuing game even more hilarious.
    Long Live Bouncy Bouncy!

    LONG LIVE BOUNCY BOUNCY!!!

It’s my new motto. It’s a new way to live for the modern age. And speaking as someone who was on a trampoline Saturday I can say that I definitely would have preferred to have been naked with some woman and drunk and covered in toothpaste.

Or maybe oil. I bet oil would be fun if it were a hot day and there was some naked trampolining going on.
