Amazingly cool music

Posted on Thursday 23 February 2006

Normally I tried to avoid posting any links to the evil myspace but I finally got around to looking for the creator of the music in this video that fills me with great jealousy of their talent.

Braund Reynolds rules. Why is all the music I’m thrilled by these days coming out of the UK? What the hell happened to the US? I don’t want to dance to anything I hear here. Check out the three music tracks and just try to not dance. You can’t do it. Not dancing cannot be done!

We as a people have lost our funk I think. It’s why we’re losing the war on terrorism. It’s why the world no longer respects the good ol’ USofA. The same thing happened to the Romans. They lost their funk and then the barbarians swooped in.

Fuck! Now I have to become British! And just when America was starting to get good beer.

Yes, MySpace is a motley collection of the lowest common denominators on the internets, and has more programming bugs than any four early Microsoft OS’s combined, with the added flavor of a ‘Playskool’ look. I wish I could quit it ;)
In regards to you becoming British, you’ve got the fat-folk bashing thing down pretty good, but you lack the dental damage for complete credibility.
But I understand. By and large, we Americans have about as much ‘funk’ as a glistening tray of surgical instruments. Except George Clinton, I guess…

George Clinton does have a lot of funk. We, as a people, as a once great nation, need to recover our way! We need to funkify ourselves! We Americans need to stand up, get down and get our funky asses on the dance floor! We Americans have to damand all our leaders groove to a bass line!
