I think your problem is that you have Viking blood and living in this modern world of the Tucson desert is stifling your innate, dare I say it, genetic need, to pilage and conquer.

I come from Nordic people and Germanic people and there isn't a day that goes by when I don't long for a fucking panzer to drive over the bastards in line at Safeway.

Naturally, I hold these feelings in check and breathe deeply, remaining calm amongst the...people.

Still, I think it would be nice, just once to carry a sword into a Walmat and go on a good old-fashioned, down home, Viking-style rampage.

Maybe I am too pessimistic. Maybe I could use some Enlightenment With A Vengeance ;) But the first step should probably be a reduction in exposure to idiocy. If anyone wants me, i'll be under a rock...

Viking you are too pessimistic and that's coming from someone who has languished in pessimism and mysanthropy for most of his life.

Everyone has those "confused" moments. Shit, I had several just last night after too much beer while bowling while wearing a tomato suit with my coworkers. I had three moments of idiotic thoughts just before I got the thought to look at my ego.

The internet is the physical manifestation of the sum total of human mind imprinted upon technology. It's scary, because the human mind is filled with demons we have such difficulty controlling, and it's getting more complete every day as people from around the world toss their demons onto the internet.

Soon there will be difference between us and it and then that's where the really interesting stuff will start to happen.

But in the meantime, I have sympathy for user id 711391 because she's got lots of turmoil and I understand that.

She's still an idiot, but she's a particularly normal human idiot.

That's a great idea. Making a movie of those searches would be hilarious. I only wish I knew someone with motivation.

Crazy how the search log actually has enough info to make a TV Movie of this woman's life for those 2 months! Jeez. That's a lot of stress and conflict she's got going on there... and bad decisions. A model Christian it would seem.

Correction: Only a madman would purposely use AOL.
As for "progression of thoughts" used in conjunction with AOLers, I think their sort of progress is equivalent to that of a glacier. Between AOL, MySpace, and all the other colossal collections of crap out there, I think the 'mind that is the internet' has terminal brain cancer...
