What was that?
It was time, man. It was time zooming past you.
I have lost so much time. Where did it all go?
Only minutes ago it was Monday and now it’s the end of the week and I can’t quite remember what happened.
There is a sense memory of having done something, having been in various places, having read, having written, having talked to people.
There is real record of my time answering email and annoying sundry acquaintances.
I even bought some music online.
Now I sit and look at that record and scan the archives and all I can ponder is where all that time has gone.
I suspect, although I have no evidence for this, that there are time vampires out there. These vampires are soul destroyers and they do it by lulling your mind into a state of catatonia. In this state of mental atrophy your perception of time is skewed and that skewing allows the vampires to take time from your life without you being able to notice it while it’s happening.
Fucking vampires, man! Probably some aliens in there too. Aliens and vampires go hand in hand, skipping into the meadow with a basket full of your innards to feast on in a blood picnic. Goddammit, vampires and aliens piss me off!
They’re on TV. They’re in your job. They’re in your circle of friends. They’re in everything, man! The time vampires are sucking your life away and all you get when they leave you to bother with someone else for a bit is the overwhelming sense of, “Huh…shit…I could have sworn it was last week.”
Vampires….not bloodsucking vampires….but the time sucking vampires. Now it all makes sense. Life goes faster as you get oler because you dont’ have access to all your time. We are suppose to enjoy 24 hours in day. Personally I think I’m only accessing 15 or 16 hours a day. The rest is a blur.. If I had really had all the time I should have, I would only be 32. I think we need to get the time police involved. Get those time stealing fuckers and blow em up. Could it be we are in a state of Nirvana???

I want the time the hell with Nirvana.

Time is inherent not only in the material plane. It is everywhere in the universe but it is of different kind in other systems.
What do hours, minutes, and seconds on our clocks mean? This is a result of division of natural for the Earth unit of time — a day, that is the time required for the Earth to make one turn round its axis. People agreed upon dividing a day into 24 hours, an hour — into 60 minutes, a minute — into 60 seconds. On the Earth we also have a year — the time the Earth makes one revolution round the Sun. It was agreed upon dividing it into 12 months. And so on.
There are also other — little used — time units on the Earth: moon time and the time used by astrologers. But all of this is valid only for the Earth. On other planets time is different.
There is also time in the Abode of the Creator, but it is measured not by earthly days and years, but by Manvantaras — cycles of the Creation’s pulsation, which last from one “creation of the world” till the next one. The Bhagavad Gita contains a detail explanation of this. So, God exists in time and evolves.
