The mystery behind Costco

Posted on Monday 16 October 2006

While walking in the wash behind Costco in Tucson I saw these structures,

whats behind costco

I have no idea what they are and can’t find anything about them. But they’re well constructed.

My guess is some sort of bicycling training, BMX maybe, but that was a lot of effort to do and they didn’t look to have been used lately.

In my country they call that a bridge.

You don’t have the persepctive. It’s 6in or so wide and flat on the ground. Those trails of wood slats are a few hundred feet long and sometimes end in platforms that dangle over a cliff.

Whatever it is, is very odd.

Kinda looks to me like some leprechauns were drunk , and decided to try and build a teeny tiny rollercoaster….but were interrupted. Or perhaps set upon by the anti-rollercoaster coalition.
