The Golden Monolith

Posted on Tuesday 26 December 2006

I learned an important thing about setting up a 12ft x 12ft reflector a month or so ago

never try to put one in the middle of a forest no matter how much extra light you need.

Man, that thing is impossible to move on rough terrain amongst the trees.

It was silly but we had it in the truck, we needed more light anyway, so we set it up to justify the cost of renting in the first place.

It did look impressive, gleaming gold and lustrous in the forest and that was nice.

Gold and lustrous is a wonderful thing.
