I took a drive to the Pinalenos when it snowed last weekend. Most of my photos were completely unusable since I never bothered to look at the setting I last used (for a night time shot of stars and distant lights). I had a lot of pure white photos.
This one was on the edge though and the camera did funky things with that exposure. This is what snow covered trees would look like if you were really high on something.

That’s beautiful…. I need to go get that view.
I got the desert view today, hiking to the pools up the Ventana Canyon trail. Beautiful in its own way, but nothing compares to the purity of snow covered towering pines. sigh.
