I did read the Dead Guy story at the end- that experience would have forced me to settle down too. Or maybe not. I'm a real fan of Fastball's The Way- maybe when my wife and I are old, Grey, and demented we'll just disappear- except she wants to be buried with her family at Riverside. I dont like the Daves though. Trying to hard to prove themselves. Pityful to see people actually think it is joyous to endanger their lives to help someone. When it comes down to it, how many people can actually say that they would seriously take a bullet for someone. No, they are lieing. There is no joy in taking a bullet to the face for someone, just for the glory. No, so when someone endangers their life for someone else, then they are only doing it for the glory. BUT, a totally other story would be like a mother taking a bullet for her child or getting her child out of a fire. So in the end, we are all partically fucked. We dont have true heros anymore. No, these assholes dont just come around to help. They come around because they seen a fucking channel 5 news van pull up at the scene. My ass. Let me tell you.
