This logo made me ponder what the fire department is dealing with if they have a classic nuclear waste symbol and a little person holding what appears to be a woman’s handbag in their Hazardous Materials Control Team logo? And if they are a “team” do they have cheerleaders?

What’s amazing about it is that despite the raging fire getting larger by the moment, everyone drove around the truck next to the fuel tanks surrounded by the fire. We did too. Everyone made the same estimation that “it probably won’t blow up and I’d love to get home and not wait three hours on a highway.” Impatience is a spectacular motivator.
