The light reminded me of a jazz club circa 1963 San Francisco. The pretty girl’s shiny skin was a bonus.

Not that I’ve ever been in a jazz club in San Francisco in 1963. It’s what movies and television have taught me that world would look like. All gritty and black and white and totally hot women watching the musicians…it’s even a hand held camera too. French New Wave inspired and surpassed because, it ends in a car chase and gun battle. Followed by unexplainable explosions. This is how movies have told me life ends.

When you don’t know how to end a story or a thought you blow it up. BOOM!

Took this photo specifically so the father had something to embarrass his daughter with in a decade when the first boyfriend shows up at the doorstep. “Hey there! Let me show you a picture of my baby girl when she was younger. Isn’t she cute? By the way, I got you this.” Then the suitor would be handed a shotgun shell with his name written on it. “Well, you guys have fun! Be home on time, baby girl.” At least, that was the plan he told me he had.

She loves peace so much you can see it all over her. That’s how much she loves peace. Not like you. You don’t care about peace. In fact, you’re probably disturbing the peace right now and posting the video to youtube.com if the news stories are any indication. The news stories are all true, right? I mean, those hallowed institutions would never distort events for sensational “human interest stories”, right? That would be unethical!
