One of the experiments we’ve bee doing with some light drawings. One of the cool features is that I managed to hit the flash, original purpose was to see the pole, as an owl or some such bird was flying overhead. It’s tiny and up in the top left corner.

My boss’ nearly two year old son hates sleeping. Seems to think he’s missing out on stuff when asleep so when his babysitter tried to put him in bed a few days ago as he was so tired he could barely stand with the admonition, “You have to sleep!” he replied, “NO SLEEP…HAVE FUN!”

A friend thought that it showed a remarkable sense of mortality. “I’m gonna die sometime and I got no time for sleep!”

I like to think that he’s just a wise sage here to teach the people.

So I’ve adopted that as a kind of motto and when I’m feeling a little out of sorts I repeat it as a mantra.

I haven’t slept in a week and the elves are still dancing! Woohoo!

The actual image is of a sign made for a play area for kids in the new restaurant in case anyone was wondering. And that silver thing on his head is a scoop light reflector. He really liked my film/photography gear.

You gotta be careful when you pee on a fire hydrant. It could turn you all electrified!
